What you'll do
We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts in Japan. This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and conversions across the full customer funnel.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Performance Marketing Director - APJ.
Responsibility
Develop and implement full-funnel digital marketing programs that align with business objectives and drive measurable results spanning awareness, consideration, and conversion stages, to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
Collaborate with sales, regional marketing, content and creative teams to develop compelling digital marketing campaigns to support growth targets
Monitor and optimize paid-media campaigns, leveraging analytics to make data-driven decisions for maximum impact
Create and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies to target high-value accounts and industries
Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including display, social media, email, and content syndication
Oversee the digital marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, regional marketing, content, creative and international marketing peers to ensure alignment and integration of digital marketing initiatives
Manage relationships with agencies, vendors, and technology partners to support campaign execution and performance optimization
Develop and maintain a robust analytics and reporting framework to measure campaign performance, track KPIs, and derive actionable insights
Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices in Japan, bringing innovative ideas to amplify reach and improve conversions
Provide input into the global Go-To-Market (GTM) playbook, contributing insights and recommendations specific to the Japanese market
Lead A/B testing and experimentation initiatives to continuously improve campaign performance and user experience
Monitor and analyze MQL and SQO status and conversion, and work with stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective lead management
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on B2B marketing in Japan
Project management and communication skills in both Japanese and English
Proven track record in developing and executing successful full-funnel marketing programs and ABM strategies
Strong expertise in digital marketing channels, including but not limited to content syndication, display advertising, social media marketing, and email marketing
Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools (e.g., Eloqua/Iterable, Marketo and Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working with marketing agencies
Preferred
Experience in the technology or SaaS industry
Experience utilizing AI on a day to day basis as part of your work
Knowledge of marketing compliance and data privacy regulations in Japan
Experience in SEM or working closely with global teams on SEM campaign strategy and execution
Proven ability as a strategic self-starter who can balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment
