We are looking for a Tokyo-based Marketing Coordinator to help us grow and elevate our brand perception and acquire users in Japan. In this role, you will help the Japan marketing team in many different aspects, from day-to-day operations to overall planning and brand strategy for Japan.

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help us grow our business and elevate our brand perception in Japan. In this role you will:
・Work, review, and define brand strategy and positioning as well as execute multiple campaigns and tactics to build the brand and achieve growth through online/ offline activities.
・Lead brand campaigns to further strengthen Tinder as a brand in the Japan market (including conceptualizing, budgeting and ongoing analysis)
・Develop and maintain a dynamic campaign testing framework with strong analytical mindsets to optimize results and maximize learning.
・Lead and collaborate with agencies and partners for in-market events and activations
・Manage Tinder Japan brand development as a key strategic member of the team
・Drive both registration growth as well as positive brand awareness.
・Manage day-to-day marketing operations
・Gain knowledge of the Gen-Z audience, and keep up with cultural trends
・Monitor market trends, and research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and threats
・Manage the day-to-day logistics of project plans such as timelines, budgets, and reports
・Report to Japan Brand Manager
We're looking for:
・3+ years of experience in media buying, and/or brand marketing and/or project management
・Proven experiences in driving an end-to-end marketing process and managing advertising agencies effectively
・Great knowledge and familiarity on Gen-Z influencers in Japan
・Native in Japanese and fluent in English (TOEIC 900+)
・Strong analytical mindset and critical thinking
・A goal-oriented and proactive fast learner
・Comfort with ambiguity; high ownership and integrity. Ability to learn from mistakes.
・A team player, who holds themselves and others accountable
Good to have:
・A strong customer-oriented mindset and a strong desire to understand the underlying needs of different Tinder user groups
・A good understanding of the current pop culture trends in Japan
・Experience in working in a diverse and international environment can be a huge plus
・The ability to communicate marketing strategies effectively with various stakeholders
・Experience in working in tech and/or youth-focused digital marketing industries
・Creativity and ability to think out-of-the box
