Master Data Management

Appealing Points:

• Drive SAP Master Data Excellence – Manage SAP master data, governance, migration, and integration across MM, SD, and FI modules to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Own End-to-End SAP Testing – Lead test planning, execution, defect management, and data validation across Unit, Integration, UAT, and Regression testing.
• Work on Enterprise SAP Transformation – Collaborate with cross-functional teams on SAP S/4HANA, MDM/MDG, and large-scale business process improvement initiatives.

Annual Salary: 8 million yen and above

Job Responsibilities:

• MDM & Functional:
  • Manage and support SAP Master Data (Material, Vendor, Customer, BOM)
  • Configure and maintain MDM processes across and integration knowledge of MM, SD, and FI modules
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across systems
  • Perform data migration, cleansing, and validation
  • Gather business requirements and provide effective SAP solutions
  
  
• Testing:
  • Prepare test strategy, test plans, and test scenarios
  • Execute Unit, Integration, UAT, and Regression Testing
  • Create and maintain test cases, scripts, and test data
  • Validate master data during testing cycles
  • Log and track defects using tools (e.g.qtest, JIRA, Solution Manager)
  • Perform data reconciliation and post-migration validation
  
  
• Technical:
  • SAP MDM/MDG
  • Support integrations via IDocs and APIs
  • Assist in enhancements and custom developments
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• Strong SAP MDM knowledge (Material, Vendor, Customer)
• Experience in integration to SAP MM, SD, or FI modules
• Hands-on experience in SAP testing processes
• Knowledge of data migration and data governance
• Experience with defect tracking tools (qtest, JIRA/HP ALM)
• Education - Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP S/4HANA and MDG experience
• Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Tosca)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams

Required languages: Elementary level Japanese (Not Mandatory) and Business level English
