Aufgaben

This position is 1 year contract.

1. Support strategic HR consulting and project coordination

  • Support handling of HR consulting requests initiated via MyHR Service tickets under guidance of senior HR Consultants.

  • Assist in coordinating HR projects across departments or locations.

  • Prepare analysis, presentations, and recommendations for business stakeholders.

  • Ensure alignment with business needs and HR frameworks.

  • Support design and implementation of organizational structures and target operating models.

2. Support the HR Transformation:

  • Act as project member for Japan

  • Make Japanese requirements clear to Regional Hub Coordinators, Global Functional Teams etc.

  • Test delivery of features and document deviations from the defined requirements

  • Prepare the rollout of the target operating model (stakeholder information etc.)

3. Apply HR product portfolio solutions

  • Support delivery of tailor-made HR solutions using the standard HR product portfolio.

  • Analyze business needs and recommend appropriate HR offerings.

  • Coordinate with GFT / HR specialist teams to ensure smooth execution.

  • Collect feedback to improve HR services.

4. Support talent management for key employees

  • Assist in the execution of talent management processes for L4/L5 populations.

  • Support succession planning, development plans, and performance reviews.

  • Prepare data and insights for talent discussions. Ensure data quality and documentation consistency.

5. Stakeholder support and governance coordination

  • Participate in meetings and committees to represent HR function.

  • Prepare materials for leadership discussions (reports, proposals, presentations).

  • Support communication between HR and business stakeholders.

  • Ensure adherence to local policies, labor practices, and compliance requirements (important in Japan context).

Qualifikationen

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or comparable field
  • Japanese: fluent, English business level
  • Basic command in MS office
  • Ability to leverage digital tools and AI to improve efficiency
  • Familiarity with HR systems and digital tools (e.g., Workday, ticketing systems) desired

Soft skills

  • Strong structured thinking and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills (Japanese & English)
  • Stakeholder orientation with ability to support senior discussions
  • High learning agility and curiosity in HR consulting topics
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Customer and result orientation

Work experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in HR, consulting, or business support roles
  • Exposure to HR processes (talent management, org development, or HR operations) preferred
  • Initial experience in project support or stakeholder coordination is an advantage
  • Experience in a Japanese corporate environment or multinational company is beneficial
