(MedTech) Senior Manager, MedTech Education, Commercial Education, Commercial Capability & Development

The main responsibility is to improve the overall capability of MedTech, particularly in sales talent development and capability building. Responsible for developing mid-term strategies, maximizing human, material, and financial resources, and working with each stakeholder to grow and develop the company.
Key Responsibilities
1) Centered around talent development and capacity building in the Commercial Department, to develop a short-term, medium-term, and long-term strategy that enhance the overall capability of MedTech.
l Lead the design of sales personnel development for MedTech, including the three-year plan (3YGP).
l Lead the cultivation of a self-learning culture within MedTech.
l Stakeholder management
l Maxime the use of educational resources such as omni-channels and J&J Learn (a new learning platform within J&J).
2) Leading the development of sales talent and capacity building:
l Design guidelines such as competency models and the base for the overall leadership development policy within MedTech.
l Implement and promote strategic skills such as coaching and career conversations.
l Identify and deploy new skills according to environmental changes. Developing and implementing leadership development programs.
3) Developing the talent within one's own department:
l Build and maintain psychologically safe teams that respect diversity.
l Operate a team with high fluidity through the development and promotion of next-generation leaders.
4) Enhancing the visibility of EdTech Japan through collaboration and cooperation with global and APAC Education initiatives.
5) Contributing to fostering EdTech culture and the overall value of EdTech as a whole by participating in the operation of the EdTech organization as a senior leader.
Key Requirements:
Essential:
l Strong interest and passion in organizational development and talent development, with the ability to continue learning on their own.
l Advanced conceptual skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to have an overview.
l Experience in demonstrating leadership in projects across departments and among individuals with diverse backgrounds.
l Language proficiency for collaborating with global teams (TOEIC score of 800 or above).
Desirable:
l Experience working in the Bio-sense Webster business unit.
l Managerial experience in sales, marketing, or related areas.
l Ability to practice coaching skills (active listening, acknowledgement, questioning, feedback).
l Experience as a Commercial Education trainer or understanding of learning theories such as instructional design.
