Department Overview
Rakuten Mobile launched its full-scale services in April 2020 as the fourth MNO (Mobile Network Operator) in Japan-the first to be approved in 13 years-with the goal of providing high-quality mobile communication services at fair prices. We have grown rapidly, surpassing 10 million subscriptions in December 2025. We also began providing full-scale services for corporate clients in January 2023. As a core business driving the future growth of the Rakuten Group, we are making large-scale investments, which have attracted significant attention both domestically and internationally.

The System and Process Design Group within the Corporate Business Operation 1 Section is responsible for coordination tasks related to the planning and development of internal tools and systems for corporate services. Our primary role is to act as a bridge between business departments (such as Sales) and the system development department, translating business needs into requirement definitions to build sales operations for mobile lines, fixed lines, and solution products. Through these tasks, we promote smooth service delivery and the optimization of sales processes.

Furthermore, the Mobile Design Team is responsible for defining business requirements for the systems that support corporate services and for building service delivery operations centered on mobile lines. We conduct in-depth interviews with field sales representatives to gather requests, accurately bridge these to the system development team, and lead the process from requirement definition to post-release impact measurement. Additionally, we design operational workflows to ensure the reliable delivery of services to our corporate clients. This is a critical role that supports the success of our corporate business from both technical and operational perspectives. Position Details

You will be responsible for the following tasks related to corporate mobile lines:
System Requirement Definition and Management

- Interviewing business departments and relevant stakeholders to identify needs and translating them into business requirements.

- Communicating requirements to the development team and managing progress until release.

- Conducting post-release impact measurement and proposing improvements.

Building Service Delivery Operations

- Designing operational workflows to ensure the reliable delivery of services, such as mobile lines, to customers.

- Collaborating with relevant departments to establish the entire process from sales to activation and operation.

- Building efficient and stable operational structures by reviewing and refining existing processes.

Work Environment
Department: Approximately 50 members / Section: Approximately 15 members

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Practical experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Professional work experience using Japanese (Native level)

- Must be a resident of Japan

- TOEIC score of 600 or higher

Desired Qualifications:

- Practical experience in system requirement definition

- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders

- Experience in building or improving service delivery processes and operations

- Business knowledge in corporate services or the telecommunications industry

- Project management experience
