Introduction to the job
Within the Supply Chain Management organization, Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) is responsible to ensure material availability at the right quality and cost for our customers.
Role and responsibilities
The MRP controller (disturbance management) contributes to local material availability accuracy by solving issues or preventing them.
The MRP controller work with teams and departments around the globe to ensure the local CS engineers have the parts and tools they need, and can return them when they are done. Large parts of the process are automated, but in case of exceptions and disturbances, you will assist the team to get the engineer the needed parts and tools.
The MRP controller are the main driver for the local field operations team on disturbances, registered and tracked in the ticketing tool. The MRP controller will support the planners in the local CSCM FO team by performing tasks such as:
• Raise issues with supporting departments.
- Masterdata quality with Master data department
- Lost in transit, admin corrections and interface issues with LSO inventory control
- Inspection plan or quality indicator issues with quality team
• Plan for returns from customer including rigging and special packaging.
• Work with LSO warehouse manager to driver 3PL performance.
• Actively work to reduce ineffective stock in the local warehouse.
• Continuous improvement of our operational processes by initiating standardization and automation of our activities.
• Meeting defined operational targets on material availability, together with the team.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of logistics and stock management.
Education and experience
- Bachelor degree or above with major related logistics & biz administration
- More than 3 years experiences in the related field
- Operational experience in logistics
- 3PL management experience
Skills
Basic :
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Professional communication in English
- Pro-active, pragmatic and a strong drive for results
- Flexible and able to work in changing environments
- Influencing skills (able to motivate, drive, steer and convince others at all levels of the organization)
- SAP knowledge, SAP MM experience
- MS Office skilled
Preferred :
- Project management experience
- Experience in 5"s, Lean, Kanban, Industrial manufacturing and Kaizen
- Experience of working in a high tech environment
