Job Description
This position involves leading the design, construction, implementation and migration of next-generation network infrastructure centered on SD-WAN, SASE and Palo Alto Prisma Access in network transformation projects for major enterprises. You will support clients’ infrastructure transformation through the introduction of cutting-edge architectures that integrate networking and security.
The department is an infrastructure service organization providing end-to-end services in the network domain, from concept formulation and design to construction and operation. It provides network consulting, managed network services, security-driven SDN transformation and network migration projects to clients ranging from large corporations to medium-sized enterprises. Using a global delivery model, it supports clients’ digital transformation through the latest network technologies and security solutions.
The project promotes network modernization using SD-WAN and SASE. You will be responsible for a series of phases, from design, implementation, verification and migration to operation handover and hypercare, in building a zero-trust network environment centered on Palo Alto Prisma Access.
Job Responsibilities
- Investigate the current network environment and create As-Is documents
- Formulate detailed implementation and migration plans
- Configure and build SD-WAN, SASE, routers, switches, wireless LAN products, etc.
- Create test plans and support UAT implementation
- Formulate and execute cutover plans
- Create configuration design documents, setup procedures and test cases
- Handle incidents and resolve technical issues
- Create operational handover documents and conduct knowledge transfer for the operations team
- Provide post-release hypercare support
- Create completion reports and sign-off documents for clients
Required Qualifications
- Experience in designing and building network environments including routers, switches, wireless LAN, SD-WAN and SASE
- Knowledge of or practical experience with Palo Alto products, especially Prisma Access
- Experience in construction and troubleshooting in network deployment and migration projects
- Practical experience in Incident Management, Change Management and Service Request Management
- Ability to participate independently in meetings, presentations and negotiations with clients and internal stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNP or CCIE certification
- Cisco Wireless certification
- Experience in deploying Cisco network products
- Experience in large-scale network transformation projects
- Knowledge of zero-trust architecture
- Experience collaborating with global projects or offshore teams
Language Required: Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1 and above) and Business level English.
