How you’ll make an impact

  • You will maintain long-term, strategic relationships within Hitachi's sales network, serve as single point of contact to Hitachi M&S organization, leading the discussion for opportunity development.

  • You will co-build account plans and sales strategies with Hitachi M&S team, acquire a thorough understanding of customer strategy and customer stakeholders as well as processes for the selected project.

  • You will be anticipating as well as understanding customer needs and projecting solutions. You're expected to create the solution meeting customer needs from Hitachi group capability.

  • You will be responsible for early identification and qualification of sales leads with cross-business/cross-group-company's sales teams, incl identification of leads with supply of innovative solutions, that are new to the marketplace.

  • You would drive Capture Team or you will be a member of Capture Team led by Hitachi M&S, must Wins, relevant pipeline management and implement local & global sales processes and tools.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • You must be fluent in Japanese (N1), with business level English.

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field.

  • Required with 5 years of professional experience working with Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Product Management, Business Deevlopment, Business planning and/or Engineering.

  • Ability to build, grow and maintain positive relationships and to build networks to target accounts/stakeholders.

  • Experience in value-based and strategic selling to take the lead in high level sales engagements is an asset.

  • Knowledge and experience of data center market is strongly preferred.

  • Must have a technical mindset to build customer confidence in solutions to open doors and command respect when proposing solutions and support closing the deal.

  • A profound sense of quality and a keen interest in complexities, a sense of urgency, and persistence in achieving goals.

  • Demonstrate strong teamwork skills, leadership, and strong priority.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written), ability to lead this defined strategy internally with multiple product lines in support of proposal responses and contract negotiations.
