Job Description

As the Owned Media Specialist, you contribute to added customer value, a strong brand and increased sales by setting customer-centric communication plans across specified local digital channels. You work towards aligned and cross-functional goals, taking part in driving omni sales performance and customer centricity in all parts of your work by driving customer growth, retention & development in your sales market through locally relevant owned media channels.

You have strong commercial focus, customer-focused, and strong interest in customer behavior and sales drivers, with proven ability to drive results and work towards goals. You focus on planning and curating content to engage the target audience effectively, having proficiency in 1st party data strategies, content analysis, content management, in collaboration with digital teams to create a holistic customer journey experience.

Key responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the overall tactics, plans and execution of local channel activation and setting the yearly plan, in collaboration with Paid Media and Membership to ensure a holistic customer plan that amplifies each stage of the relationship framework in your sales market, aligned with the omni sales team plan in the region.
  • Using your deep understanding of the target audience, their preferences and their behaviours, you plan and maintain high-quality content that engages target audiences.
  • Responsible for understanding the cost associated with email and push, as well as traffic and revenue forecasts for the specific sales market, developing data-driven plans and content in collaboration with the content operations team.
  • Infuse insight into communications planning by Identifying customer growth potential connected to your channels and sales market, seizing opportunities to new customer acquisition and retention.
  • Adapt to changing digital trends and technologies, staying connected with the latest development to continually optimize owned media strategies, sharing learnings and insights across regions and global.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role as Owned Media Specialist, you should have strong commercial focus and proven ability to drive results and work towards goals. You plan and curate content to engage the target audience effectively, having proficiency in 1st party data strategies, content analysis, content management, in collaboration with digital teams to create a holistic customer journey experience. Additionally, a deep understanding of the target audience, SEO principles, and analytics skills are crucial for tailoring content, maximizing reach, and making data-driven decisions to enhance owned media performance.

What you need to succeed:

  • Marketing, Communication or business degree/relevant qualifications.
  • Full proficiency in the English language, with proficiency in Japanese and/or Korean considered advantageous.
  • Strategic thinker with broad marketing & media skills with a focus on digital media channels.
  • In depth understanding of local media landscape and how media agency operates.
  • Experience driving brand & customer growth for different target groups, preferably from local markets.
  • Effective collaborator in working in cross functional role in different geographies.

Additional Information

This is a full-time position, reporting to the Media & Operations Manager – NEA.

Specific working location will be discussed during the interview.
