The Red Hat Support Partner Enablement team is looking for a Partner Success Manager to join us in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to strategic partners in Japan. You will ensure that Red Hat partners are fully engaged, recognize Red Hat as their preferred technology partner, and that together we deliver a great customer experience. As a Partner Success Manager, you will communicate between our support team and our strategic cloud and software partners as you build relationships with a shortlist of named partner accounts. You'll also tactically engage other strategic partners as needed.

  • Establish a trusted advisor relationship with partner stakeholders so that all of Red Hat's activities are closely aligned with the partner's business strategy
  • Develop success plans for partners that include relevant KPIs, potential issues, and recommendations
  • Educate partners on Red Hat product life cycle, certification, and support best practices
  • Understand your partner's solutions and technology as they relate to Red Hat offerings
  • Communicate with sales, product management, engineering, and support teams to advocate for partner needs
  • Onboard strategic partners to ensure that their transition from sales to technical support and consulting is seamless
  • Manage critical partner support escalations
  • Conduct service reviews that highlight partner and program successes, milestones, opportunities, and gaps
  • Oversee corrective actions and closed-loop efforts

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with great follow up skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Organized and ability to work well with constant priority changes
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline
  • 10+ years of experience as a support or partner project, program, or account manager
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%
  • Experience with partner sales and partner business development role is a plus
