Our services are offered in the following areas of Primary Care, Home Care, Chronic Care, Mental Care, and Care Coordination. We are seeking an Internal Medicine, Family Practice or Geriatric Medicine Physician to join our multidisciplinary Care Team. Through the collective partnership, we will be able to make impactful changes in the lives of local residents and grow the business.
The ideal candidate will provide the full scope of primary care services that fall under his/her field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance to patients. In addition, a Primary Care Physician is a member of the team, operating in a leadership capacity developing policy and procedures, increasing profitability through revenue management, marketing services within the network. They are expected to be familiar with the philosophy, goals, and objectives and work collaboratively to achieve them.
Part-Time / Per Diem opportunities are available. All interested physicians must exhibit dedication to support, grow and develop the Medical Group. Services will be provided virtually or in-home as needed.
Primary Description:
  • Work with the primary healthcare team to provide patients with primary medical care services within the standard of care for Internal Medicine patients.
  • Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer patients to specialists when appropriate and called for.
  • Analyze reports, test results, medical records, and examinations to diagnose the condition of patients and propose treatment options.
  • Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.
  • Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up-to-date before prescribing medication/treatment.
  • Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing.
  • Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.

Work Environment:
  • The physician will be assigned a primary practice location, however, are expected to travel to and staff other worksites within a manager-defined area as needed by the business.
  • The physician must also possess the ability to perform overhead reach, bending/squatting to access supplies, balance and safely use a step stool, lift at least 20 lbs., and move about the surrounding location.
Required Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in a Primary Care Physician role outside of their residency and who has the following certifications:
  • MD. or D. O. degree from an accredited United States medical school.
  • Successful completion of residency and at an accredited healthcare institution.
  • Board certification in primary care or related field.
  • Current Stale Medical Practitioner License.
  • Proof of Malpractice Insurance.
  • Credentialed with CAQH and with Maryland-based Insurance Providers such as Medicare, Medicaid, CareFirst, United Health, Cigna, Humana, etc.
  • Must have current Hospital Privileges or be willing to obtain them.
