Power Platform Architect or Senior Engineer

• Lead Enterprise Power Platform Governance: Own the strategy for environments, DLP policies, security, compliance, and lifecycle management across a large-scale Power Platform ecosystem.
• Drive Automation and ALM Excellence: Build robust Dev→Test→Prod promotion pipelines, CI/CD processes, and operational frameworks using Managed Environments, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and the CoE Starter Kit.
• High-Impact Client-Facing Architecture Role: Work directly with customer IT teams in Japanese and English, leading requirements definition, design reviews, and knowledge transfer for enterprise-wide Power Platform adoption.

Annual salary: 6 million and above

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and lead Power Platform environment strategy (Production / Development / Testing / Personal Productivity / Copilot Studio dedicated 5 environment configuration)
• Design and implementation of DLP policies and connector classification (Business / Non-business / Blocked)
• Developing Dataverse usage policies and capacity management (default 15GB DB / 40GB files)
• Designing developer controls using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) groups and environment roles
• Build a Dev → Test → Prod promotion flow with Managed Environment Pipelines or Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
• Design and implementation of operations, inventory management, and audit log acquisition using CoE Starter Kit
• Design of external system linkage (M365 / Box) including Box connector
• Maintenance of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) (Solution, Source Control linkage, deployment automation)
• Design of lifecycle management (environment/application/flow inventory process, owner standardization, unused asset organization)
• Designing security, authority, compliance, and audit log acquisition policies
• Document preparation and technology transfer with a view to handing over to the customer's internal operations
• Negotiation with customer (Customer’s IT department) regarding requirements definition and design review

Job Qualification:

• Over 5 years of practical experience in Power Platform design and construction
• Experience implementing Power Apps (Canvas / Model-driven), Power Automate (Cloud / Desktop), Dataverse
• Management experience using Power Platform Admin Center
• Managed Environment operational design and construction experience
• Experience designing and implementing DLP policies and connector controls.
• Experience in Microsoft 365 tenant management and Entra ID (Azure AD) management
• Experience implementing or operating a CoE Starter Kit
• Experience building CI/CD using ALM (Solution, Pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• DLP/security policy formulation experience
• English business level, Japanese business level (native or equivalent to JLPT N1) — To conduct requirements definition and design reviews with customers in Japanese
• Governance design experience in an enterprise environment (ideally in the manufacturing industry)

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience supporting Power Platform implementation for customers in the manufacturing industry (especially optical and electronic equipment manufacturers)
• Experience implementing integrations with Box and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 / Microsoft Fabric / Microsoft Purview
• Basic understanding of Copilot Studio or Microsoft AI Builder
• Experience in security and compliance audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, IPA Security Assessment System, etc.)
• Holds Microsoft certification: PL-600 (Power Platform Solution Architect)
• Holds Microsoft certification: PL-400 (Power Platform Developer) or PL-200 (Functional Consultant)
• Microsoft 365 / Identity related certifications such as MS-100 / MS-700 / SC-300
• English communication skills (with collaboration with Cognizant global team)
• End-to-end delivery lead experience in PoC and full-scale implementation

Language Skills: Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N2) and Business level English
