Are you ready to take your sales prowess into the high-end luxury realm? Main Duties and Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, your primary responsibilities will include devising strategic quarterly sales action plans and annual account management strategies designed to surpass revenue goals. You'll manage the full sales process, becoming the go-to contact for our VIG clients while also discovering new opportunities through personalized engagement and brand discovery.
Your focus will be both on nurturing existing guest relationships, enhancing their experiences across our portfolio, and actively prospecting new high-value clientele. The insights you gain from direct client interactions will feed directly into our KPIs as you employ all available tools—from Tableau analytics to OSC database management—to optimize sales performance.
Collaboration is key; you'll work closely with property-based sales teams ensuring alignment of strategy while leading efforts to transform direct leads into desirable business bookings. Training and educating LVMH Maison staff about Belmond offerings will help maintain visibility in a competitive market.
On top of these duties, your role includes conducting market analysis, participating in trade shows tailored toward luxury B2C markets, planning educational trips, and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge—all aimed at maximizing B2C conversion ratios from your assigned territory.
Requirements
To excel in this position:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of luxury business practices.
- Proven selling skills with results-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional resourcefulness with a customer-focused approach.
- In-depth understanding of Belmond properties and experiences.
- Familiarity with B2B distribution channels and standard commercial strategies.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; additional familiarity with BI tools like Tableau is advantageous.
