BPO Delivery provides buyer services for BPO projects commissioned by our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for tactical sourcing activities for general indirect materials.
You will primarily be responsible for managing and maintaining catalog-based purchasing operations. This includes conducting price assessments and negotiations for catalog items, responding to inquiries from client stakeholders and suppliers regarding catalog products and purchase orders, and handling changes to order details.
In addition, you will analyze purchasing data to identify cost reduction opportunities and support the planning and execution of improvement initiatives. Through these activities, you will contribute to stable procurement operations while continuously improving efficiency and accuracy in day-to-day processes.
•Japanese speaking/listening/writing/reading skills are mandatory.

•At least 2 years of hands-on experience in procurement operations, including price assessment, negotiation planning, and execution
•Strong communication skills to handle frequent interactions via phone or email with internal stakeholders and suppliers
•Knowledge or experience in Microsoft Excel for catalog maintenance tasks (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF functions)
•Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and handle them in a timely manner
•Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow procedures to minimize errors
•Experience in factory procurement or catalog purchasing (e.g., MRO, office supplies)
•Experience using SAP Ariba
•Experience identifying operational issues and driving process improvements or efficiency enhancements (scope does not matter)
•Experience with business automation tools (e.g., Excel macros/VBA, Power Automate, RPA)
Additional Preferences:
•Experience in procurement within a BPO environment
•Experience utilizing AI tools or digital technologies in business operations (e.g., automating •information gathering, improving comparative analysis efficiency)
•A proactive mindset toward continuous improvement and adoption of new tools or technologies
