We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager for the Amazon Music team in Japan. The Sr. Product Marketing Manager will develop the Go-To-Market strategy and marketing plans for high-profile product/feature launches and high-priority initiatives. You will own holistic, end-to-end marketing and growth plans for the projects you are assigned to work on. You will also be working on developing a standardized Go-To-Market process which will include streamlining the intake, briefing, cross-functional coordination and creative reviews in partnership with Central Marketing team. You will work across internal teams including Marketing, Product Management, Programming, Editorial, Label Relations, Creative, Events, PR, etc., as well as external vendors and agencies as needed.
You will be a successful marketer that delivers results and have worked for global brands, either on client or agency side. You will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and have proven experience planning and executing large marketing campaigns across big cross functional teams, and will feel comfortable in negotiating with key business partners and global Amazon teams to gain alignment on marketing plans and ultimately manage all aspects of the project execution.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is able to prioritize and deliver on deadlines with minimal supervision, has the ability to persuade, inspire and motivate others and drive results. You will be highly skilled in making data driven decisions, recommending and implementing strategies that achieve measurable results, driving towards Amazon Music team goals. This role will include interaction with local partner and global teams and require a strong ability to communicate effectively with various business and product teams. Success in this role requires excellent customer instincts, understanding how to streamline and work within Amazon Music’s voice, the ability to define strategy from scratch and set customer-centric campaign goals, excellent project management skills, an aptitude for developing insights-driven global strategies. You will need to possess an entrepreneurial ability to try new and different things with minimal direction.

Develop marketing strategy for high-profile product/feature launches and high-priority initiatives that would require an in-depth and holistic view of the customer journey and consumer touch-points;

2. Campaign Planning and Management
Develop and manage overall marketing plans and schedule to ensure flawless execution of our high impact projects
Partner with a wide-range of internal teams to identify and prioritize needs for the product/feature and ensure immaculate planning
Manage blocking issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and meet committed delivery timelines
Document and present strategies and periodic updates to internal and external audiences.
Overall stakeholder’s management and project progress reporting on a regular basis
3. Business Assessment and Next Action Planning
Lead the efforts to measure success of each project by monitoring all key data, both quantitative and qualitative, which will include assessments of:
· Business impact
· Customer experience
· Resource planning and management
· Work stream management
Develop and propose clear next action plans to further drive results, and secure alignment from key stakeholders for future collaboration
