Join the newly created team in Japan Payments, being responsible for planning and execution of various Japan Payments initiatives.

As a Vice President within the Japan Payments Product Management team, you will be expected to lead to plan and execute strategic initiatives for not limited to regulatory actions, end-to-end process improvements, and control agenda. You will be working closely with the Payments Products head, other functions across Japan Payments including Operations and Technology and internal stakeholders such as Compliance, Legal, etc. To execute high-profile initiatives focused on governance, regulatory change, control and risk management, which will require outstanding communication skills, a strategic mindset, and passion for execution.

Job responsibilities

  • Plan and execute strategic actions such as automation and streamlining the process
  • Establish end-to-end framework of Japan Payments to meet regulatory requirements and to manage operational risk
  • Organize and manage Japan Payments Forums which was established to review all Payments deals
  • Work closely with various stakeholders such as teams in Payments, Compliance, Legal, etc. for smooth deal executions
  • Perform Post Facto Transaction Review which analyze transaction data to support risk mitigation measures established by Sales
  • Perform day to day oversight of the business to ensure the business comply regulatory requirements in Japan

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills with experience of conflict resolution
  • Knowledge of financial industry and working experience in Banking
  • Skills for strong time management, organizational and project management
  • Skills for data analysis & evidence keeping
  • Strong ownership and ability for execution
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Possesses strong risk management mindset
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) /Counter the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) and regulatory landscape
