The Production Manager for Hotmelt Operation oversees all manufacturing activities related to hotmelt adhesive processes, ensuring efficient production flow, product quality, and safety compliance.
職務内容
Production Management
- Manage daily hotmelt production operations to meet output and quality targets.
- Develop and manage production schedules.
Monitor process parameters, equipment, and raw materials.
Process & Equipment Control
- Oversee operation and maintenance of hotmelt equipment.
- Troubleshoot temperature, viscosity, flow, and equipment issues.
- Implement preventive maintenance with engineering teams.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure product quality meets specifications.
- Collaborate with QC/QA on defect analysis and CAPA.
- Maintain documentation including SOPs and production records.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety procedures related to high-temperature materials.
- Ensure compliance with EHS standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety training.
Team Leadership
- Supervise production staff.
- Conduct training on equipment and process control.
- Evaluate performance and develop operator skills.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead yield improvement, scrap reduction, and cycle-time reduction projects.
- Support Lean/Six Sigma/TPM programs.
- Promote automation and digitalization initiatives.
適したスキル
- TPM knowledgeMachinery and Process safety knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in production or adhesive manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with automated equipment, MES, PLC systems is preferred
