Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience working in the software development life cycle.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Google Maps.
- Experience executing independently across multiple sites.
- Experience managing or developing processes for engineering organizations.

In this role, you will drive execution for programs and software development for directions and navigation across modes of transportation in Google Maps.
The Geo team is focused on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for our users, through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, Google Maps Platform, and more. Every month, more than a billion people rely on Maps services to explore the world and navigate their daily lives.
The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.
Responsibilities
- Enable execution across multiple teams, including collaboration with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and understand/organize any conflicting requirements and priorities across different workstreams.
- Track and communicate program status to cross-functional stakeholders including monthly business reviews, OKR tracking, metrics reporting, and strategy reviews.
- Drive visibility and strengthen communication across the teams and partner/dependency teams, representing projects from business, product, and technical perspectives.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, UX and stakeholders to define, organize and support team objectives, scope, comprehensive project plans, timeline/milestones and release plans for driving directions and navigation in Google Maps.
