Amazon is seeking for an innovative, results-oriented, customer centric team member to drive improvements with Amazon Japan shopping journey. The Sr Program Manager primary responsibility is to understand largest customer pain working with business teams and to adopt right solution Japan wide, co-working with multiple tech teams across the globe. This individual will lead in identifying solutions that will innovate shopping experience for Japanese customers, and launch country level features by overcoming Japan unique challenges in scalable way (such as language, back-end elements, etc) with technology or mechanisms.
The ideal candidate has solid program & product management experience with a track record of designing, launching and adopting multiple highly impactful initiatives in parallel. This position offers an opportunity to leverage your understanding of technology, business management, process management and team management, co-working with Amazon global peers mainly in US, EU, China and India, in one of the world’s leading technology companies for innovation.
Key job responsibilities includes:
  • Understand all customer pain points in Japan, set and execute strategy to innovate customer shopping journey on Amazon.
  • Involve and influence key local and global stakeholders (business, tech, marketing and legal leaders).
  • Prepare and give business reviews with senior management on regular basis.
  • Define the feature set, business requirements, measures of success, and roadmap for the business.
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs for speed to market, business performance and features.
