Job Description SummaryThis is one-year contract position
Roles and Responsibility
・Execute project management for HV AC substation projects.
・Lead design and engineering of HV AC substation for utility and industrial projects.
・Lead quality management, execute test inspection program, organize QC records for HV AC substation projects.
・Lead technical proposals and support the sales team at the tender stage for HV AC substation projects.
・Assist the customer(s) with the governmental/local permits and inspections (as necessary).
・Lead technical presentation of HV AC products plus FACTS and electrical storage solutions to customers (as necessary).
• Have close communication with Japanese customer relationships and work with CEAP's ACS team and GE product offices.
•Understand the key milestones in a project plan, their financial impact and ensuring the technical risks are understood and mitigated in accordance with the plan
•Support a standard product methodology mindset, seek opportunities to re-use solutions, improve quality and reliability whilst reducing the delivery timeline and associated costs
•Engineering degree or equivalent including power systems and power electronics subjects or proven equivalent knowledge and experience in HVAC Distribution/Substation business
•Strong sense of urgency and ability to identify and manage technical risks
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, experienced in creating and presenting technical reports and responding to clients’ technical questions
•Ability to understand and communicate customer requirements, lead technical discussions with customers and develop client relationships
•Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and requirements management
•Understanding of functional characteristics of power systems
•Able to work to deadlines under pressure whilst maintaining the safety, quality and engineering integrity of the solution
•Must be flexible with working hours and willing to travel in order to support projects globally
•Fluency in written and spoken Japanese and English.（TOEIC740 points and above)
• Knowledge of control, protection, and sequencing
• Being able to use Auto CAD
• Knowledge of electrical standards such as IEC and JEC, JIS and ISO standards, and electrical equipment standards for high-voltage substation equipment
•Studies in Electrical engineering
•Ability to define requirements and ensure they adhere to best practice
