QA Automation Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Mobile and Web applications.
• Execute regression, smoke, sanity, and feature validation test suites.
• Analyze test failures and perform root cause investigations.
• Update automation scripts based on application changes.
• Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Support Jenkins CI/CD pipeline execution and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain test documentation and execution reports.
• Participate in code reviews and follow automation best practices.
• Contribute to automation coverage expansion and framework enhancements.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, or similar) to improve automation scripting, debugging, test generation, and productivity.
• Evaluate AI-generated automation code and ensure it meets quality, maintainability, and coding standards.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve QA processes through AI-assisted automation and intelligent tooling.

Job Qualifications:

• 5+ years of QA Automation experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java and/or Kotlin.
• Experience with Appium and/or Selenium automation frameworks.
• Experience with TestNG or similar testing frameworks.
• Good understanding of Android and iOS mobile application testing.
• Experience with Git workflows.
• Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Experience with test reporting tools such as Allure.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud device farms or real-device testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI-assisted software testing platforms.
• Experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) for test case generation, automation scripting, debugging, and documentation.
• Experience with self-healing automation frameworks or AI-powered test maintenance.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted code review and pull request analysis.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted engineering tools (such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or equivalent) to improve software testing and automation productivity.
• Ability to write effective prompts, validate AI-generated code, and integrate AI into daily automation workflows.
• Exposure to AI Agents, MCP (Model Context Protocol), or agent-based development workflows.
