To qualify for the role, you must have
- BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc.
- 6 - 10 years of experience in Test Automation position using Java/JavaScript/Python
- Experience in UI Automation tools like – Selenium/Cypress/ Playwright
- Experience in frameworks like – BDD/TestNG/JUnit
- API Automation like Rest Assured/Karate
- Should have experience in developing./maintaining Automation frameworks
- Should have experience in code reviews
- Should have worked in Agile methodology and have experience in continuous integration and deployment strategies
- Exposure to containerized deployment (e.g., Kubernetes / Docker) is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Working knowledge of unit testing tools such as Junit is a plus
- Exposure to Financial industry is a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding of business requirements and translating requirements into Automatable test cases, and various test scenarios
- Built robust/efficient/stable automation suite for executing large scale tests
- Maintenance of existing Automation suite
- Integrating with Downstream systems through API.
- Creation and Maintenance of test data.
- Reporting of test results and defects
- Communicating with development team and Business stakeholders
Ideally, you’ll also have.
- Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly
- Should be ready to do an individual contributor
- Mentor the team in the following the pre-defined coding standards and best practices during development and testing the features efficiently through automation frameworks set in place
- Working knowledge of unit testing tools like MSTest or JUnit is a plus
- Experience with Java Script, JSON is a plus
- Experience with JMeter is a plus
