Job Description

Quality assurance of embedded software for semiconductor products mainly for automotive applications
・Assessment of compliance with standards and rules for software design activities
-Functional Safety Assessment based on ISO26262
-Design process assessment based on Automotive Spice
-Security audit based on ISO21434
・Analysis of causes of software defects in the market and activities to formulate measures to prevent recurrence
・Assessor in Renesas internal Automotive Spice Assessment activities
・Participation in the PDCA cycle to improve the design quality of the software design department based on the information and data obtained from the above activities (including proposals for optimization of internal rules and activity support)

Qualifications

【Must】
・Embedded software development experience (track record of launching multiple products into the market)
・Knowledge and operating experience of standard processes in the software industry such as Automotive-SPICE, CMMI, PMBOK, ISO 26262, ISO21434, etc.
・Knowledge and experience of so-called agile development
・English：business level
・Japanese：business level (JLPT: N1 level)
【Want】
・Experience in quality assurance work for electrical and electronic equipment products
・Knowledge and experience in checking the design quality of software developed using standard processes in the software industry such as CMMI and Automotive Spice.
・Knowledge and usage experience of software development and management tools
・Preferring ""conversational communication"" with work partners

Additional Information

There is an increasing demand for software design processes from car manufacturers, especially from European customers.
Compliance with software design processes such as ISO26262 and ""Automotive SPICE"", which are international standards for automotive functional safety, and processes for managing development projects is required.
In addition, in recent years, compliance with ISO21434, the in-vehicle cybersecurity standard, has become increasingly required.
In order to meet these demands, we have established Renesas internal rules, and our software development department will proceed with development in accordance with these rules.
Use our deep and accurate knowledge and extensive experience to check the development department's compliance with rules, identify weaknesses, and implement a cycle of improvement.
Through this, you will contribute to improvement activities to ensure that the quality of the software design process meets the expectations of in-vehicle parts manufacturers and European car manufacturers.
Additionally, you will contribute to improving future software design quality by analyzing the root causes of software defects that occur in the market and supporting the formulation of measures to prevent recurrence.
Furthermore, through these activities, you will be able to participate in comprehensive activities related to software design quality by providing various proposals for improving weaknesses in internal rules themselves and optimizing internal rules based on customer requirements.
