Rates Trader – Executive Director / Vice President

As a Rates Trader within our Asia Pacific Rates Trading business, you will engage in market making for Japanese Yen Single Currency & Cross Currency Swaps and carry out related risk management in a vibrant and bustling trading floor setting. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Sales and Research teams to generate innovative ideas and contribute to the secondary market.

Job responsibilities

• Market-make Japanese Yen Single Currency & Cross Currency Swaps
• Perform associated risk management
• Interact with Sales force and client base to provide pricing and trade ideas and / or market color where required
• Manage and develop the trading desk which has a few Vice President or below Traders

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Japanese Yen Swaps Trading role or similar with strong track record
• Ability of multi-tasking and hardworking under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical ability

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience in managing the trading desk as a desk lead / manager
