Reporting line: Retail Supervisor
Main responsibilities
- Serves customers by helping them select products
- Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
- Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
- Responds to customers’ questions.
- Provides outstanding customer service.
- Manages financial transactions.
- Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
- Alerts management of potential security issues.
- Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
Experiences and qualifications
- At least 3 to 5 years of sales experiences in retail
- Passion and strong interest in Herman Miller Brand
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ideal skills
- Willingness to gain more experiences by accepting others’ feelings and try to see things positively to grow each other
- Excellent customer service skill
- Collaborate effectively with team members, each store, and each department.
- Have a sense of urgency to solve problems and get the job done in the most efficient way
- Have sense of awareness and be mindful for changes without being bound by prejudice or precedent
