- Role details
- Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations of WithSecure Linux Protection (endpoint security for Linux servers), WithSecure Atlant (scanning-as-a-service via REST API / ICAP), and WithSecure Elements EDR (endpoint detection and response).
- Key responsibility
- Architect integration solutions for Atlant — connecting its REST API or ICAP interface to customer workflows such as email gateways, file storage, CI/CD pipelines, and web proxies.
- Advise customers on deployment patterns (bare-metal, VM, container/Docker) and tuning for high-throughput scanning environments.
- What are we looking for
- 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions architecture role within the cybersecurity or IT industry.
- Strong Linux expertise: comfortable administering RHEL/CentOS/Debian/Ubuntu systems, reading logs, troubleshooting services, and understanding file system and process-level security concepts.
- Hands-on experience with EDR solutions — understanding of detection logic, alert investigation, behavioral indicators of compromise (IoCs/IoAs), and response actions.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs — able to write or adapt code samples (Python, curl, or similar) for integration demonstrations.
- Experience with at least one of: endpoint security, EDR/XDR, anti-malware, content scanning, ICAP, or similar security technologies.
- Excellent communication skills in Japanese (native or business-level) and English (business-level) — able to explain complex security concepts clearly to SMB customers who may not have dedicated security teams.
