Senior Sales Executive – Instant ID Issuance (IIDI)

About the Role

Are you a self-driven sales professional with a track record of winning complex B2B deals? Entrust is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to lead sales execution and pipeline development for our Instant ID Issuance (IIDI) business in Japan.

Part of our established card printer and instant issuance division, this high-impact role focuses on expanding market coverage and accelerating revenue across enterprise, education, and public-sector markets. Working closely with channel partners, you will independently manage opportunities from initial prospecting all the way through closure.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive Revenue & Pipeline: Own pipeline development and end-to-end deal execution across the IIDI segment, working through and with partners to close business.

  • Target New Opportunities: Engage enterprise, government, and public-sector accounts to uncover unmet needs, position secure solutions, and build qualified opportunities.

  • Win Market Share: Identify and convert replacement opportunities, aggressively driving competitive displacement and white-space development into new use cases.

  • Leverage the Channel: Collaborate with value-added resellers (VARs) and system integrators to scale coverage, build pipeline, and increase execution speed.

  • Collaborate Internally: Partner with cross-functional internal teams—including product, technical support, marketing, and operations—to deliver seamless customer solutions.

  • Sales Hygiene: Maintain highly accurate opportunity data, pipeline hygiene, and sales forecasts within our CRM platform.

Skills & Experience You’ll Bring

Language Skills

  • Japanese: Native-level fluency (written and spoken) is required for customer and partner engagement.

  • English: Business-level proficiency for internal alignment and global collaboration.

Professional Experience

  • Proven Individual Contributor: Strong prospecting, negotiation, and deal-closing capabilities with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota.

  • Solution Selling: Experience selling integrated B2B technology offerings involving hardware, software, or complex systems.

  • Channel Ecosystems: Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles alongside value-added resellers, system integrators, and strategic technology partners.

  • Competitive Drive: Demonstrated experience displacing incumbent competitors and securing replacement wins.

  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and major CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle).

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • 5 to 10+ years of relevant B2B sales experience.

  • Preferred: Experience selling to enterprise or public-sector clients. Experience in ID issuance, secure card printing, or credential management solutions is a major advantage.
