Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of relevant sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products and platforms.
  • C-level sales or consulting experience in cloud based (SaaS) technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with marketing or sales support in developing product, solution messaging, narratives and value propositions.
  • Demonstrated track record in reaching and exceeding goals in the technology industry with SaaS products.
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated, analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to understand the big picture to the minutiae.
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management capabilities.

On the Google Workspace team, we help businesses work smarter and run their organizations more effectively by delivering our cloud-based collaboration, productivity and security tools.

In this customer-oriented role, you will leverage your knowledge of Google Workspace and business strategy to develop an execution strategy for Google Workspace in your assigned market. You will work both individually, and with the broader Sales team and partner ecosystem to prospect, qualify, develop and close new Google Workspace opportunities. You will build an excellent pipeline and work with the account teams to build out the customer solution. In this role, you will work with senior stakeholders and IT decision makers across various functional teams and verticals.

  • Deliver against business and pipeline goals, prioritizing an outstanding customer experience. Discover and understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level.
  • Prospect, qualify, develop and establish new business opportunities and develop territory strategies to be successful at accelerating the business cycle in a competitive environment.
  • Work with wider Google Account teams, such as Field Sales Representatives, Business Development and Customer Engineers, to generate and develop business growth for Google Workspace.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Work closely with Google Partners to scale demand generation and maximize business results in the territory. Provide guidance to develop campaigns to drive pipeline, forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.


Due to the current health crisis related to COVID-19 and the escalating visa/travel restrictions in place, we're currently unable to extend offers to anyone who cannot work from Japan due to lockdown visa/travel restrictions, or other restrictive measures until further notice. Consequently, we will be prioritizing candidates who can start in this location by set date as expected.
