We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated SAP CO Architect to join our team in Japan. You will be responsible for the design, implementation of SAP COsolution, ensuring it aligns with the client’s financial and costing processes and best practices
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new SAP CO functionalities to meet evolving business needs
- Discussing the functionality, features, benefits, and impact of Management Accounting CO
- Configure and customize SAP CO modules, including Cost Element Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Activity-Based Costing, Profitability Analysis
- Analyse and optimize financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Integrate SAP CO with other enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Provide ongoing support to users and troubleshoot technical issues
- Stay up to date with the latest SAP CO developments and best practices
- Participate in project planning and execution
- Coordinating with FI, MM, and PP consultants, ABAP developers, and other personnel from cross integration modules
- Work closely with finance costing business and IT teams to ensure successful project outcomes
Requirements
- 8 -10 years of experience working with SAP CO in a similar role
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- Proven track record of successful SAP CO implementations and support
- In-depth knowledge of SAP CO modules and functionalities
- Experience with other relevant SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA) is a plus
- Strong understanding of Japanese costing principles and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
