We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated SAP MM/WM architect to join our team in Japan. Responsible for the design and implementation of SAP MM/WM solution’s, ensuring it aligns with the client’s MM/WM processes and best practices
Responsibilities:
Design and implement new SAP MM/WM functionalities to meet evolving business needs
Configure and customize SAP MM/WM modules
Strong Procure to Pay, Warehouse and Inventory Management process knowledge
Understanding of the Materials Management & WM integration with other modules like Finance (FI), Sales & Distribution (SD), Quality Management (QM) and Plant Maintenance (PM)
SAP configuration of MM/WM module / and cross modules integration
Configure and maintain all the relevant MM/WM components including but not limited to Production Planning, Production Scheduling, Quality Management & Knowledge on SAP Plant Maintenance (including documentations)
Understand SAP's master data integrity, information flow processes, landscape architecture
Fundamental knowledge on entire Supply Chain/procurement process & impacts (Automotive domain preferred)
Strong hands on with Inventory management/Contract/PR/PO release strategy in SAP MM
Experience in Configuration Simulation
Strong in MRP (with MTO, MTS & ETO strategies), Account determination process, Production/Sales orders/Scheduling agreements, Stock movements and inventory updates
Good knowledge of Serial Number & Batch* Good knowledge on ALE/ iDOC's /Databases/ Interfaces/ BAPIs/ User exits / BDCs / LSMW / LTMC
Processes to advise business users on S/4 HANA - Fit to Standards- Out of the Box- solutions
Develop and maintain technical documentation
Provide ongoing support to users and troubleshoot technical issues
Participate in project planning and execution
Work closely with SD Business and IT teams to ensure successful project outcomes
Requirements
8-10 years of experience working with SAP MM/WM in a similar role
Fluency in Japanese and English
Deep hands-on functional experience in the implementation and configuration of SAP MM/WM
Sales order processes, bill of lading, shipping, distributed requirement planning, variant configuration
Proven track record of successful SAP MM/WM implementations and support
In-depth knowledge of SAP MM/WM modules and functionalities
Experience with other relevant SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA) is a plus
Strong understanding of Japanese accounting principles and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
