Job Description

Our HR Operations Japan Team is part of a Global HR Operations and Technology Team. We are looking for a team member who can conduct and lead Japan-local operations while actively participating in global projects and collaborating closely with team members across the globe.
【Planned Duties】
Japan HR Operations Duties (mix of the following):
-Onboarding and offboarding delivery
-LOA programs management and delivery
-Delivery of other operations, such as personnel transfers, employee contract management, etc.
-Advancement of SuccessFactors (HCM) utilization in Japan HR Operations
-Implementation of process improvements to deliver excellent end-user experiences

Global Projects (team member will join/lead one or more of the following projects and other new projects):
-Implementation of HR single contact portal & knowledge base
-Implementation of new systems and system functions
-Process simplification project
-Continuous improvement network (global network w/ focus on system improvement)
-HR Operations delivery model expansion

Other Expectations:
-The team member will be expected to proactively collaborate with and support other HR teams, including Payroll and CoE Teams, as well as other corporate function teams.

Qualifications


-5 years or more of hands-on experience in HR Operations or payroll, or in an HR Generalist role
-experience in transformation activities such as BPO, HR systems or vendor implementation, process improvement
-native-level Japanese language ability
-strong English conversation ability (level high enough to actively participate in all-English conversations)
-strong respect for employee privacy


-Experience in large-scale employee data maintenance in HRIS (HC 1000+)
-intermediate-to-advanced excel skills (capable of high volume data analysis, automation via use of macros, etc.)

Additional Information

To further deploy and develop the HR Operations model in Japan, and to more strongly collaborate with our Global HR Operations and Technology team, we are seeking to add a team member with HR Operations background and English/Japanese proficiency. Increasing talent will help HR Operations Japan team in short-term needs of correctly aligning duties across Ops teams and speeding up transition of operational duties from other HR teams, and our mid/long-term goals of delivering an excellent experience to managers/employees, harmonizing HR programs delivery, and simplyfing processes.
