【募集の背景 / Purpose & Scope】
本ポジションでは、製剤技術、物理化学的評価、およびドラッグデリバリー技術の専門知識を活用し、オンコロジー領域における創薬パイプラインの価値最大化に貢献していただきます。
具体的には、CMC研究部門との密接な連携のもと製剤検討・物性評価のデータを取得し、得られた結果を基に化学・薬理・ADME・安全性研究者と議論を共にし、臨床試験に進む候補分子の選定に深く関与します。また、多様な製剤技術を創薬の段階から試すことで患者さんにとってより価値の高い剤形・投与経路を提案します。
上記を遂行するにあたり、創薬プロジェクトのリーダーチームミーティングに製剤研究担当者として参加し、またご自身でも実験を遂行します。
加えて、各創薬プロジェクトをより効率的に進めるための製剤研究戦略、新規技術の研究・導入などを行い、部門のケイパビリティ拡大にも尽力いただきます。
This position contributes to pipeline enrichment in Oncology Research by applying formulation science, physicochemical assessment, and drug delivery expertise to improve drug-likeness and maximize the potential of drug candidates. Through close collaboration with Oncology Research teams and CMC lab partners, the scientist jointly designs and executes formulation, physicochemical, and early CMC-related studies with scientists in CMC labs to identify key developability risks and opportunities and support informed project decisions. The position provides scientific leadership in shaping formulation strategies across diverse modalities, influences cross-functional decision-making through expert recommendations and data-driven insights, and advances innovative formulation approaches that accelerate program progression and enhance the value of the oncology pipeline.
【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】

・オンコロジー研究プロジェクトにおいて、製剤領域の担当者として研究活動を推進する。
・溶解性、バイオアベイラビリティ、安定性、投与設計に関する課題解決に向けた製剤スクリーニング戦略を構築・実施する。
・CMC部門と協働し、製剤評価、物理化学的評価、および初期CMC関連研究を計画・実行する。
・新規製剤技術やプラットフォーム技術の開発に貢献する。
・物性評価や製剤技術を活用し、候補化合物の創薬適性向上を試みる。
・製剤分野の専門知識と科学的なデータに基づく提案を通じて、化合物の選定などプロジェクトの意思決定に貢献する。
・国内外の関連部門や外部パートナーと連携し、高品質な研究成果を創出する。
・Serve as a formulation lead and subject matter expert for assigned oncology research programs across diverse modalities and global research sites.
・Develop efficient formulation screening strategies to address solubility, bioavailability, stability, and dosing challenges.
・Jointly design and execute formulation, physicochemical, and early CMC-related studies with CMC lab scientists.
・Contribute to the development of innovative formulation technologies, platforms, and best practices.
・Identify opportunities to improve drug-likeness through physicochemical assessment and formulation technologies
・Provide scientific leadership and influence cross-functional decisions through formulation expertise and data-driven insights.
・Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to deliver high-quality scientific outcomes.

【応募要件 / Qualifications】
＜必須 / Required＞
・薬学、化学、生化学、薬理学、または関連分野における修士号以上を有する方（博士号取得者歓迎）。
・製薬企業またはバイオテクノロジー企業において、製剤開発、ドラッグデリバリー、開発可能性評価（Developability Assessment）または関連分野での実務経験を有する方。
修士修了者：7年以上
博士修了者：4年以上
・上記に記載した経験要件を満たしていない場合でも、応募者の経験、スキル、およびポテンシャルに応じて選考を行います。最終的な職位・グレードは、総合的な適性評価に基づき決定します。
・物理化学特性や製剤が医薬品開発に大きく影響をすることを経験/理解されている方。
・日本語による優れたコミュニケーション能力を有し、英語による専門領域の議論が可能な方。
・Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
・At least 7 years of relevant industry experience with a Master’s degree, or at least 4 years with a Ph.D., in formulation development, drug delivery, developability assessment, or a related area within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
・Candidates with less experience than stated above may also be considered, and the final grade level will be determined based on overall qualifications, capabilities, and demonstrated potential.
・Strong understanding of physicochemical properties and their impact on formulation and drug development.
・Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English.
＜歓迎 / Preferred＞
・標的タンパク質分解誘導剤（TPD）、Induced Proximity Molecules、バイオ医薬品、ADCなどの新規モダリティに関する研究経験。
・新規製剤技術の創出や技術導入に関する実績。
・ADME評価、安全性評価、SAR（Structure-Activity Relationship）解析に関する知識・経験
・Experience with emerging modalities, including targeted protein degraders, induced-proximity molecules, biologics, ADCs, or other complex therapeutic modalities.
・Track record of innovation, platform development, or implementation of novel formulation technologies.
・Experience with and/or knowledge of ADME evaluation, safety testing, or structure-activity relationship analysis.
