In this Senior Accountant role within Black Diamond Group’s Corporate Finance, you will support accurate, timely financial reporting and close processes. You will work within the financial reporting team to prepare reports for management, auditors, and external partners, while contributing to process improvements and ERP‑related projects. You’ll collaborate across departments to ensure data integrity and compliance under tight deadlines. This position offers growth in a fast‑growing, values‑driven culture that prioritizes accountability and continuous improvement. You will help shape the company’s financial storytelling and support strategic decision‑making.
Retribuzione / Benefits
- Support monthly, quarterly and year‑end close and prepare financial and operating reports for senior management
- Assist with reporting for bank and partnership entities
- Perform timely balance sheet reconciliations
- Contribute to ERP implementation and entity financial statements for tax and reporting
- Prepare materials for external auditor discussions and year‑end reviews
- Draft quarterly MDA and press release content in coordination with multiple teams
- Handle non‑routine reporting transactions and identify workflow improvements
- Coach and mentor team members and collaborate with other departments
- Support ad hoc reporting requests as needed
Responsabilità
- Professional accounting designation
- 2+ years post‑designation experience preferred
- Experience with year‑end packages, financial statements, and notes
- Audits experience (internal and external)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Professional, ethical attitude with multi‑deadline management
- Experience with SAP Business One, NetSuite, Wdesk and Oracle EPM Cloud is an asset
- Excellent communication skills; able to interact with diverse stakeholders
- Proactive, self‑starter; able to work independently and in a team
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
