The Inventory Control Sr. Analyst position will be located in Kawasaki, Japan. The role will be responsible for having a comprehensive knowledge of Services, production flow, and inventory control processes. The successful candidate should be able to independently perform data analysis and audit to ensure the accuracy of inventory transaction and accountability of the inventory control process. The position requires engagement with cross function department such as IT, Production, Finance, Logistics & 3PL, Procurement and inventory control team in other regions.
Key responsibilities include:
Ability to perform financial analysis of inventory data, interpret trends and identify process
Conducts physical inventories and leads cycle counts. Analyzes and, when able, corrects
cycle count discrepancies
Perform system to system reconciliation to ensure smooth inventory transaction
Compiles and documents all transactions for data entry.
Self-driven, with initiative to lead small projects
Can work independently and is self-motivated
Anticipates future needs based on analytical ability to perform advanced root cause analysis
Create and present executive level presentations
Represent Inventory Control interests in meetings with cross function team
Ability to audit and monitor 3PL vendors in accordance with the Inventory Control Global Policy
