Senior Facility Manager

Job Description Summary

As the Regional Lead, your primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of services by effectively managing the Workspace Service team and external suppliers. This includes aligning service delivery with the account strategy and adhering to budgetary constraints. Additionally, you will oversee overall operational Facilities Management for the Corporate Portfolio within the region. Your role involves actively supporting the Workspace Service Team in their daily operations and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external. There will also be a requirement to travel across the region to oversee the service delivery.

About the Role:

  • Lead, develop, and motivate the Workspace Services team by providing clear direction, performance coaching, regular communication, and professional development opportunities.
  • Manage operational service delivery to ensure contractual obligations, SLAs, KPIs, budgets, and client expectations are consistently met.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, resolve issues effectively, and identify opportunities for business growth and service improvement.
  • Oversee resource planning, contractor and supplier management, project delivery, and business continuity to optimize team performance.
  • Drive risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making by proactively identifying issues and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
    Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), workplace regulations, procurement processes, and collaboration with key stakeholders such as HR, IT, Communications, and Procurement.

About You:

  • Degree holder – either Facilities Management, Building Services or business orientated. Proven relevant experience if no formal education.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in comparable roles, with proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive operational excellence.
  • Strong operational and commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, P&L, client accounts, and service delivery in line with corporate governance standards.
  • Demonstrated experience managing vendors, contractors, and multiple sites, with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities that add contract value.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-centric mindset, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, can-do attitude.
