Senior Global Material Planner

The Senior Global Material Planner is responsible to manage the inventory replenishment strategies for the Westinghouse fuel facilities utilizing tools and processes to exceed companies’ goals and objectives. This position works directly with Westinghouse cross functional global teams, e.g. Master & Production schedulers, Global Supply Chain Solutions, Global SIOP Team, Supplier Quality and have a direct working relationships with supplier(s). This position supports multiple functions, requiring excellent communication and building of interpersonal relationships throughout all levels and functions within the business and suppliers. This position will be 90% remote and 10% onsite.

Your Day to Day:

  • Manage Supplier Replenishment into our Global Manufacturing and Assembly sites (5)
  • Develop and maintain replenishment plans that support inventory and delivery goals
  • Maintain Data in the MRP System and Supplier Portal to ensure timely delivery of material
  • Work closely with the Global Inventory, Operations Planning, and Supply Chain Teams
  • Lead or participate in special projects related to Supplier Replenishment and Material Planning

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in one or more (or combination of) the following functional areas: Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Materials Management, or Logistics.
  • APICS CPIM strongly preferred. Must be achieved during tenure if not currently certified.
  • MRP experience, could be SAP, Oracle, MFG Pro, etc. Must have experience planning material through an MRP system.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills influencing others.
  • Strong analytical and cognitive skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building and team work skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret and document complex business processes and systems.
  • Exceptional computer skills; ERP, Business Intelligence systems or equivalent and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI development and reporting.
