Headquartered in Singapore and backed by top-tier investors, it is founded by a serial entrepreneur with a history of successful ventures. They are expanding their presence globally, and are opening a new office in Tokyo and inviting a Senior Securities Analyst to join their dynamic team.
The Role
The Senior Securities Analyst will play a key role in the investment team in Japan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment analysis, covering various sectors including fixed income and alternatives/hedge funds. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting detailed analysis of fixed-income securities, hedge funds, and other alternative investments.
- Developing and maintaining financial models to evaluate historical data and generate predictive insights.
- Providing recommendations based on comprehensive risk and return assessments.
- Collaborating with the investment team to develop strategies that align with the company’s financial goals.
- Preparing reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Staying updated with market trends, economic indicators, and investment theory to enhance portfolio performance.
Ideal Profile
- You have a degree in Finance or related field as well as at least 5 years of experience in investment analysis within an asset management or securities firm.
- You have strong experience in fixed-income and alternative investments such as hedge funds .
- You are proficient in financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and investment research tools.
- You have strong analytical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to be able to effectively liaise with the internal teams across the region.
