About the role

The Mobile Maintenance team is currently seeking a Serviceperson to join them.
Reporting to the Supervisor Mobile Maintenance, you will be responsible for carrying out safe, efficient, and prompt inspections, refuelling and servicing on our large heavy equipment fleet which consists mainly of the below:

• Atlas Copco/Epiroc (PV271 and D65 Drill Rigs)
• Hitachi Excavators (EX8000, EX5600 & EX3600)
• Hitachi Trucks (EH5000)
• Caterpillar Trucks (793, 785 as well as 777) and Caterpillar Loaders (994K)

Duties

• Working with compressed air, pressured cooling systems and hydraulic systems
• Use power tools and tools for daily tasks
• Complete lubrication of types, oil, and fluid sampling
• Servicing and refuelling of company mining fleet
• Ensure the service vehicle is stocked with correct levels of oil/grease/fuel
• Assist fitters with daily tasks when necessary

Skills and experience

• Previous experience in a similar role and/or serviceperson position essential
• Current HR or MR class driving licence
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your time
• Self-motivation, with the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Exposure to Mining heavy mobile plant servicing
