The opportunity

Our Service offerings empower customers & partners to holistically manage the asset lifecycle—from start-of-life (e.g., Install & Commission), through services designed to strengthen operational-life (e.g., Upgrade, Repair & Extend), to end-of-life activities (e.g., Replace & Decommission).
How you’ll make an impact
1. You will oversee construction as a site representative or site supervisor for installation, maintenance, and renovation of GCB, GIS, and TR.
2. You will coordinate with clients, prime contractors, partner companies, and internal related departments.
3. You will develop construction plans, schedule management, personnel allocation, and work procedures.
4. You will develop and implement risk assessments and safety construction plans before work begins.
5. You will strictly comply with Hitachi Energy's quality standards, work standards, and HSE requirements.
6. You will identify process delays, quality defects, and on-site issues early and implement corrective actions.
7. As the safety management officer on site, you will promote the achievement of zero accidents and no disasters.
8. You will supervise and supervise Field Service Engineers and workers at partner companies.
9. You will oversee testing, inspection, and handover operations to improve customer satisfaction.
10. You will prepare reports and conduct project reviews after construction completion.
11. By building relationships with customers, you will create opportunities for additional services and renewal projects.
12. You will handle short-term and long-term business trips to various sites within Japan.
13. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1. A degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering is a plus.
2. At least 5 years of on-site experience related to GIS, GCB, or TR is preferred. Experience as a site manager, site supervisor, or construction supervisor is a plus. Experience in power plants, substations, or heavy electrical equipment construction is preferred.
3. A Level 1 Electrical Construction Management Engineer qualification is preferred. Project management-related qualifications are preferred. Hitachi Energy Certification Level 4 or 5 Knowledge of safety management and risk assessment Knowledge of process management and quality control.
4. Ability to read technical documents in English is a plus. Communication skills with overseas customers and overseas FSEs are preferred
