Job Description

As the SNS Media Specialist (LINE) Paid/Social - JP, you contribute to added customer value, a strong brand and increased sales by setting customer-centric communication plans across specified local digital channels. You are responsible for driving customer development & profitable sales growth in your sales market through locally relevant digital channels.  You work towards aligned and cross-functional goals, driving omni sales performance and customer-centricity in all parts of your work.

You have strong commercial focus and are insight- and data-driven, with proven ability to drive results and work towards goals. You are an experienced  social media specialist with good knowledge of owned social, paid social, and digital advertising in general, as well as deep knowledge of LINE platform in your sales market.

Key responsibilities

  • You are responsible for leading the local channel activation on LINE and other social platforms, optimizing performance for sales and customer engagement.
  • Develop ways of working, strategies and guidelines, educating teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage and track digital investments, ensuring profitability, efficiency and alignment with commercial priorities and goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities through customer insights and collaboration with Customer Activation & Marketing teams.
  • Handle negotiations with platform partners and other agencies, manage budgets effectively in a timely manner, and collaborate closely with the Content Operations and E-commerce teams in a way to deliver the best performances on key platforms.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role as Media Specialist Paid/Social - JP, you should have strong commercial focus and are insight- and data-driven, with proven ability to drive results and work towards goals. You are an experienced digital media specialist with good knowledge of owned social, paid social, and digital advertising in general, as well as deep knowledge of LINE in your sales market.

What you need to succeed:

  • Marketing, Communication or business degree/relevant qualifications – if not, at least 5 years of working experience in marketing or media roles with a digital focus.
  • Proven track record of handling communication on LINE or similar type of social  media platforms, with strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. 
  • Full proficiency in Japanese and English.
  • Strategic thinker with broad marketing & Media skills with focus and good understanding of digital media channels, social media trends,  local media landscape and how media agencies operate.
  • Robust organizational skills, experience in  collaborating cross-functionally, with the ability to solve problems, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Preferable to be familiar with BI tools, social listening tools, data management dashboards and other digital tools. 
  • Content creation and agency management experience is a plus. 

Additional Information

This is a full-time position, reporting to the Media & Operations Manager - NEA.

Specific working location will be discussed during the interview.
