Job Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end quality assurance lifecycle, including:
- Requirements analysis
- Test case design
- Test data preparation
- Manual and automated testing
- Test execution
- Result reporting
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, using AI to improve product quality and regression coverage.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA teams to understand functional and non-functional requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Act as a bilingual communication bridge between onshore and offshore teams in Japanese and English.
- Translate and explain requirements, test results, and technical details across teams.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Track defects throughout their lifecycle, provide timely updates and follow-ups, and support prompt resolution of critical issues.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend preventive actions.
- Suggest improvements to automation, test coverage, and overall efficiency.
- Apply AI, Prompt Engineering, Copilot technologies, and AI-assisted quality engineering across:
- Test planning
- Test design
- Test data generation
- Automation development
- Execution analysis
- Defect triage
- Risk assessment
- Overall STLC efficiency
Job Qualification:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language:
- JavaScript
- TypeScript
- Python
- Java
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of:
- Test automation best practices
- Test design patterns
- CI/CD integration
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
- Exposure to AI, including agentic workflows.
- Practical knowledge of applying AI across multiple testing phases, including requirements analysis, test design, test data generation, automation development, execution analysis, and defect triage.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with modern development and testing tools in cloud-based or distributed systems.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working across onshore and offshore delivery models.
Language Proficiency: Native Level Japanese (N2 or equivalent) and Business Level English
