Sagri, founded in 2018, is an agri-tech start-up, solving issues in agriculture and climate change. Sagri has technological superiority in satellite data-based farmland demarcation and soil analysis, which are the basis for the creation of carbon credits from farmland. We are conducting demonstrations and operations in India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Kenya, Tanzania, Brazil, and Peru.

The Role

In this role you will be reporting to the CTO and will be responsible for:

Designing, developing, and maintaining the Sagri mobile application for iOS and Android platforms using React Native, TypeScript, and Redux.
Implementing user-facing features like interactive maps, data visualization, push notifications, and real-time data updates.
Integrating AI models and satellite data processing into the mobile application.
Ensuring seamless integration with third-party APIs, such as weather data providers.
Optimizing the application for performance, responsiveness, and battery efficiency.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, data scientists, and product managers, to deliver high-quality features.
Participating in code reviews, writing unit tests, and maintaining code quality standards.
Monitoring and troubleshooting issues in the production environment, ensuring a smooth user experience.

Ideal Profile

You possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field and have at least 3 years of experience in mobile application development using React Native and TypeScript.
Strong proficiency in React Native and its ecosystem, including state management, navigation, and third-party libraries, is required
You are familiar with REST APIs and have experience integrating with backend services.
Experience with native Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development would be preferred
Familiarity with satellite data processing, AI models, or geospatial data visualization is a strong plus.
You have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and have the ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
You possess a solid understanding of mobile app performance optimization techniques.
You are an analytical, problem-solver with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
