The Specialist FM Design Review - Facade shall report directly to the FM Design Director. They should have engineering background and experience in Façade and glass constructions and able to review designs from facility management (operability and maintainability) perspectives, covering all stages of all design packages
·Minimum of 15 years of total experience.10+ years extensive experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects (residential, commercial, industrial, sports, marine etc.), at least 7 of which in a design management role focused on FM aspects.
Fully conversant with regulations, codes, and standards for large scale regional and urban developments and preferred knowledge of local codes. Proven track record in leading FM design reviews, implemented through execution and operation phases In-depth understanding of FM requirements as they relate to design, with proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, design related tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communicator (verbal and written) and a good command of English and ability to present confidently to small and large audiences. Proven ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and internal and external stakeholders, with interpersonal skills to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
·Fully computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office applications with good knowledge of Microsoft Project, Primavera P6; familiarity with CAFM, AutoCAD and BIM are desirable. Strong leadership ability, rational judgement and reasoning skills, with proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
A team player, with team management capabilities to effectively manage and set up goals and objectives for personnel development.
Requirements
·BSc/MSc in any Engineering degree with relevant experience in façade / glass construction and Facility Management for large and mixed-use developments.
·Professional registration and accreditation with applicable institute(s) and certification(s).
