Process Integration Engineering team strives to deliver leading edge process capability, best-in-class bits per wafer (Yield) with highest quality and fastest speed through innovation and collaboration with cross functional team. With the diversity of technology in DRAM/NAND/3DxP and geography (R&D sites – Boise/Japan; 6 manufacturing sites – US, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore), Frontend Central PIE team will be responsible to identify best-known-method holistically, align best-known-method timely and implement improvement systematically across the network.

  • Drive best-in-class product maturity which includes bits per wafers (yield), product grades (Repair Density and DPM) at the fastest speed and cycle of learning
  • Collaborate with fab to prepare for volume production which including MOR-POR Gap closure, FOAK tool and Cpk maturity
  • Achieve Speed/Cost/Scale/Quality and Technology business objective through innovation, best known methods, and standardization among sites
  • Drive cost maturity and close gap with our competitor through process simplification
  • Identify best known method and business process from DRAM/NAND sites and drive for alignment and standardize across network
  • Govern Yield Modelling for all tech nodes to assure consistent and scientific approach for target setting
  • Govern yield related metric and performance to plan across network
  • Establish strategic program, system, and methodologies to accelerate yield program and quality maturity
  • Work with cross functional team including SMAI team to develop future-proof analytical methodology and platform to tackle increasing volume, velocity and variety of data
  • Develop human resource strategies to attract, retain and reward talent and effectively deploy them to maximize every individual’s potential
  • Establish structural training program for PIE organization to build strong technical pipeline for the network
  • Develop talent pipeline in both leadership and technical role for technology challenge, cultivate innovation and growth mindset
  • Constantly driving productivity and eliminate inefficiency / ineffectiveness
  • Engage team members and drive accountability, performance driven culture through clear communication, formal and informal feedback, goals and KPI
  • Drive diversity, equality, and inclusive working environment and foster teamwork and trust in the organization

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and related field of study        
  • 3 years experience in Management/Leadership at or above Director level, or equivalent technical experience
  • Applicants must have a proven ability to collaborate globally and influence by indirect leadership to drive resourcing to critical projects across Micron
  • Applicants must have a proven capability in dealing with complexity and an ability to utilize resources effectively to bring clarity to required actions  
  • Applicants must hold a record of performance excellence for current area of responsibility; and are recognized as having demonstrated successful leadership characteristics both in present and past jobs
  • Applicants must have demonstrated the ability to solve problems across multi-functional groups, both within and outside their department/Site  
  • Applicants must have experience managing large, multi-layer groups that encompass a variety of disciplines
