Job Description

Reporting line: Retail Supervisor

Main responsibilities

  • Serves customers by helping them select products
  • Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
  • Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
  • Responds to customers’ questions.
  • Provides outstanding customer service.
  • Manages financial transactions.
  • Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
  • Alerts management of potential security issues.
  • Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.

Experiences and qualifications

  • At least 3 to 5 years of sales experiences in retail
  • Passion and strong interest in Herman Miller Brand
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ideal skills

  • Willingness to gain more experiences by accepting others’ feelings and try to see things positively to grow each other
  • Excellent customer service skill
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, each store, and each department.
  • Have a sense of urgency to solve problems and get the job done in the most efficient way
  • Have sense of awareness and be mindful for changes without being bound by prejudice or precedent
