We’ve just opened a new HR Strategist opportunity. A HR strategist at Workday is about advocating our innovative HCM solutions in the market and transform HR functions with our clients, especially Japanese multinationals. About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • HR Transformation: Assessing the readiness of global HR Transformation with Workday in Japanese Companies, and propose global HR transformation roadmap
  • Supporting Sales Activities/Deal Support: Working closely with sales teams, and provide advice on Sales Manager forecast based on readiness assessment
  • Winning Proposal: Building rapport and sharing workday vision with champions at prospects (one that is eager to transform to HCM at client sides), and propose winning scenarios to them
  • HCM Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of Human Capital Management and HR practices in Japan to advocate for our innovative cloud-native HCM solutions.
  • Community Building: Cultivate and lead a community of HR professionals, industry experts, and potential clients, providing valuable insights into the unique HR landscape in Japan.
  • Networking: Forge and nurture relationships with influential HR thought leaders, organizations, and potential strategic partners in Japan.
  • Training and Workshops: Deliver comprehensive training sessions and workshops to educate internal teams and external stakeholders about our cloud-native HCM solutions, and the model of next-gen human capital management, emphasizing their relevance to the Japanese HR landscape.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Implement robust metrics to measure the impact of our evangelism efforts, providing data-driven recommendations for further optimization.
  • Collaboration: Work in close partnership with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure our evangelism strategies align seamlessly with our overarching business goals.

About You

Qualifications:

  • HR Transformation: Experience in supporting and implementing global HR transformation for Japanese companies by integrating global HR policy, organization, and processes in top-tier HR consulting firms (experience in system evaluation, selection, and implementation is a plus)
  • Expertise in Japanese HR Practices: In-depth knowledge of HR practices, regulations, and compliance standards specific to the Japanese market.
  • Assessing Readiness and Proposing Roadmaps: Assessing the readiness for global HR transformation at multinational companies, and making proposals for HR transformation to CHRO and other senior management at client
  • Creating Pipeline: Part of the role as a Sales/PreSales finding precise opportunities among prospects, and creating strong pipeline through evangelize HR transformation for prospects
  • Deep HCM Knowledge/Experience: Strong understanding of Human Capital Management principles and technologies, and their application within the Japanese context.
  • Networking Skills: Strong networking abilities with a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships within the Japanese HR community.
  • Content Creation: Proven ability to create diverse, impactful content tailored to the Japanese HR market.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis to derive actionable insights for refining evangelism strategies.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, open to feedback, and dedicated to continuous self-improvement.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across different geographies.


Our Approach to Flexible Work
