About the role:
The Process Plant team is currently seeking a Permit Supervisor to join them on an 8 Days on, 6 Days Off Roster based at Roy Hill Mine. Reporting to the Superintendent Processing Production, you will be responsible for the provision of permitting and isolation services at the Processing Facility, as required for daily operation, maintenance, major and modular shutdowns.
Duties:
- Lead the development of sustainable processes and systems for Isolation and Permit to work
- Ensure personnel coverage for activities on site, including interfacing with other teams to engage their support
- Be responsible for all isolation equipment reliability, availability and condition quality
- Develop and maintain constructive working relationships within own team and interdepartmental
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive Operational or Maintenance experience in Mining and Processing
- Experience with SAP or similar CMMS
- Demonstrated ability in practical application of Permitting and Isolation Systems
- Knowledge of Mines Safety & Inspections Acts and Regulations
- Current Manual C Class Drivers License
- Intellipermit experience desirable
