About the role:

The Mining team is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join the team.

Reporting to the Superintendent Production, you will be responsible overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production team. Ensure that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and sustainably. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Duties:

• Support production teams to meet production targets and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and environmental policies, fostering a safety-first culture.
• Monitor production operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and resolve operational issues.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide training and development opportunities to staff.
• Prepare and review production reports, ensuring accurate data recording and analysis.
• Allocate resources effectively, including equipment and personnel, to achieve optimal production outcomes.

Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience in a supervisory role within the mining industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of mining operations and equipment.
• Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
