Job Description

Job Responsibilities
- Develop Systems Engineering requirements in compliance with ASPICE standards.
- Perform requirements analysis and capture in compliance with applicable automotive standards.
- Estimate and plan Systems Engineering activities.
- Support technical meetings with the customer on requirements capture.
- Collaborate with software, system and hardware TPs/TFs during critical design directions.
- Support defect analysis and perform cross-program defect verification.
- Review TGR and TGW from similar projects and apply them as appropriate during the planning phase.
- Support system engineering during feature-level FMEA to develop fail-safe requirements.
- Review impact analysis of critical customer changes with respect to cost and functionality.
- Identify and escalate risks and dependencies (technology, capability, 3rd party, software, hardware, input documents).
- Collect and analyze quality metrics and take appropriate actions in terms of checklists, training, mentoring, etc.
- Analyze project-level non-compliances and take appropriate action.
- Ensure use of requirements tools and share learning with the team.
- Peer review all system engineering work products.
Required Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech (Electronics/E&TC) with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in System Engineering or System Testing.
- Very good knowledge of Instrument Cluster and Infotainment System Architecture, Fuel Algorithm, Trip Computer algorithm, BT, Wifi, CAN, Diagnostics, Voice, Audio, etc.
- Experience in:
- Requirement management tools such as DOORS NG and JIRA
- CAN network and diagnostics
- Cluster domain knowledge
- G-UI requirements
- System architecture
- System integration testing
- HW architecture
- Specialization in Driver Information (Instrument Clusters) or Infotainment.
- Understanding of regulatory and legal requirements pertaining to the area of specialization.
- Hands-on experience with modeling languages such as UML and MATLAB.
- Automotive embedded industry business acumen.
- Communication and technical negotiation skills.
Language Requirements: Fluent level Japanese preferred
